The Grading Rat was started out of a frustration at larger companies only accepting bulk orders and charging a fortune to do so. We understand the struggles of a TCG collector where you "pull that one perfect card and you want it framed for ever" only to look at getting it graded and see that companies will not offer a service for single cards.
We at the Rat believe that all cards should be celebrated at treated with care and respect even if they aren't in a massive bulk.

How we grade your TCG cards
Here at The Grading Rat we use a combination of patented AI software and years of expertise with a keen eye to expertly grade your TCG collectables.
Our 10 point grading system will assess all the key areas of a collectable including centering of the image, condition of the corners and finally reviewing the image and the surface quality to give the card an overall grade out of 10, where 10 is perfection.
This grading system has been developed from years of working with other collectable assessment services to create our own precise grading system.
Grades:
10 - Gem Mint -
The collectible must have no manufacturing or handling defects.

9 - MINT -
well-preserved with several minor manufacturing or handling defects.

8 - VF - Very Fine -
moderate defect or a number of small defects.

7 down to 1 -
You get the gist of whats happening here and we cant give away all our secrets.

0 - Ungraded -
This card is either an imitation or a cheap knock off but it is a fake and shouldnt be treated as an equal with proper branded cards.
